Madison Thanksgiving Day 5K is a GO!
Regardless of weather predictions, the Madison Thanksgiving Day 5K Trail Race event will go on as scheduled Thu. Nov 24, 2011 at King Pine Ski Area, Rte 153, Madison, NH. Registration opens 7:30am. 5K Trail Race starts at 9am, $20 per individual. Fitness Walk starts at 9am, $5 individual, $15/family. More >

A nice resource for a chunk of the trails in Madison. There’s lots more out there including the Trout Pond area and Shawtown Road and trails off of Lead Mine Road and lots of other Class VI roads in the town too. But this is a great start.

Mt. Eisenhower (9 Miles)

This is probably one of the harder runs I’ve done, but fun nonetheless. Taking the Edmunds Trail from Mt. Clinton Rd. makes for a steep, rocky ascent. Once you reach tree line it flattens out and the footing becomes better. On More >
