Earl Stetson – A Life Well Spent

Longtime White Mountain Miler and world adventurer, Earl Stetson passed away this past weekend.  There was a wonderful tribute to him today in today’s paper.  You can read it here.

Here is an excerpt from the bottom of it regarding a celebration of his life this coming weekend:

There will be a celebration of Earl’s “Life Well-Spent” at Tin Mountain Conservation Center on Bald Hill Road in Albany, N.H. on Saturday, June 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. Please come armed with stories of Earl, there are so many! Earl’s favorite chocolate cake and coffee will be on hand. If so inclined, any other desserts (his favorite food) will be most welcome … to send Earl off with a dessert extravaganza!
