Winter Fun Tri at Whitaker Woods Feb. 4

There is a new event this year at Whitaker Woods.

This event will be FUN for everyone!
Try skiing, mountain biking, and snowshoeing the trails in Whitaker Woods, all in one event. The courses will be approximately 5K each. Choose one of three categories for entry: Men’s and Women’s Individual, Men’s and Women’s Team, or Coed Team. Skiers will be first, bikers will be second, followed by snowshoers.

Come Challenge Yourself, Your Friends, and have FUN!!!

Sidehiller Snowshoe Race is Canceled

Unfortunately the conditions at the Fairgrounds are just not safe with way too much ice. The predicted weather will just make that worse.

Sidehiller Snowshoe race Status

We will make a final determination about the Sidehiller Race (scheduled for this Saturday at 11 AM at the Sandwich Fairgrounds) on Thursday Eve. If the race is able to happen, it will be a mere $5 entry fee for all, even day of.

Sean Doherty Wins Bronze Medal at Youth Olympic Games

Center Conway’s own Sean Doherty was part of the mixed US biathlon relay team that won a bronze medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria yesterday. Way to go Sean!

Whitaker Woods Snowshoe Race: Saturday January 21st.

Conditions are looking good for this Saturday’s Whitaker Woods Snowshoe Scramble, a 4 mile snowshoe race through North Conway’s Whitaker Woods. Start time is 10AM, with registration from 8:30-9:30. Rental Dion running snowshoes are available for $5 on a first come, first served basis. There will be bagels and coffee from Big Dave’s after the race. I hope to see you Saturday!

8 Mile run on Sunday, start at 8:00 A.M. at the Chamber of Commerce parking area. Oh, and it’s another Mason Breakfast. Items for food pantry always appreciated. Hope to see you there!

Breakfast suggestions welcome! If we get some much anticipated snow, this may be a road run.

Milers’ Christmas Party is this Sunday, December 11

A reminder that the 27th annual White Mountain Milers Christmas Party is this Sunday, December 11th. It all begins at noon at Steve and Cathy Dowling’s house in Kearsarge. There will be a fun run followed
by socializing and a Yankee Swap. Bring a pot luck if you want and a tacky gift for the swap.
