Boulder Loop Trail
The Boulder Loop Trail is a great place to do some uphill snowshoeing. It is also a great place to go when the winds are howling due to the shelter from the trees. There must be a significant amount of snow in order to snowshoe here due to the rockiness of the underlying trail. The outlook from the top of the ledges give you a view of nearby Chocorua. The downhill is the fun part. If you can snowshoe here after a fresh snowfall the downhill can be awesome. Directions: From Conway village take the Kanc (Rt. 112) to the Albany Covered Bridge. Cross the bridge and park in the lot on the right. Follow the signs from there. |
