This loop is a lot of fun is you love stream crossings, flat ridge lines at elevation, and a few steep ascents and descents. This is not the most picturesque runs, but there are a few opportunities to get some great views from the summit of North Hancock. There is some scrambling on the way up North Hancock. The trails is rocky and steep in a few spots. The ridge between the North and South peaks is really cool. You're shaded by trees most of the time. It's like being in a tunnel.

Directions: If you can find the Hairpin on the Kanc (Rt. 112) you can find this trail. Just park at the Hancock parking lot and follow the signs.
