This area consists of a small network of dirt roads of of Bear Notch Rd. just outside of Bartlett Village. The lower part of the network is pretty flat, but when you get further in the elevation climbs quickly and the roads get twisty. Another great feature of this area is that most of it is covered by trees so there is shade at almost all times of the year. The Bear Notch Ski Touring Center trails are nearby and adjoin some of the roads. Many of the trails are great for running, but check w/ the owners before using there trails. This area is also popular with mountain bikers.
