Sidehiller 4 Mile Snowshoe Race
RACE HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO POOR CONDITIONS
Registration Information
Because the snow conditions were so questionable and we had to do a total course re-work, we are doing a $5 registration for everyone with day of Registration only (except for Richard Busa, who gets in free).
It will be a no frills event as we didn’t want to ask the Sidehillers to put out money for food in case the event was canceled so just water and gel available post race. It will be a snowshoe race and not a trail race.
The race will definitely happen with a 2 lap course of the Sandwich Fairgrounds (about 5 miles total distance). Relive your great memories of the Cattle area, the Swine, the Oxen, without all of those pesky crowds!!

Parking & Race Day Registration: 9:30-10:30AM at the SANDWICH LIBRARY PARKING AREA, ROUTE 109 CENTER SANDWICH, NH
About the Race
We may be no frills but we’re still at the epicenter of the snowshoe racing universe. This is the only race that is part of the both the famed and internationally acclaimed Western Mass Athletic Club (WMAC) Snowshoe Series and the quickly growing and frighteningly successful Granite State Snowshoe Series. It’s also a qualifying race for the 2012 National Championships in Colorado. It’s all brought to you by the Sandwich Sidehillers, Dion Snowshoes, and Hammer Nutrition.
2012 Race is on Saturday January 28th at 11:00 AM
COURSE: Single Track and some Groomed Trail. 3 Miles in Woods. Rolling Hills, One
Steep 200 ft. Hill Up/Down as you enter the woods. You’ll get to run through people’s backyards, fields and over stone walls. Course may be modified due to conditions.
SNOWSHOE REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM SNOWSHOE SIZE = 120 SQUARE INCH SURFACE.
AID STATIONS: Water & Heed Sports Drink Available at Start/Finish Only
DIRECTIONS:
I-93 to exit 23, rte 104 East to rte 25 East to Center Harbor.
Turn onto Bean Rd go 8 Miles
Turn Right at blinking light at Route 113
Library Entrance just past Post Office.
