Thanks to everyone in the Milers for Mt Washington and Cranmore

Every year in June the White Mountain Milers put the MWV on the map with our generosity, our spirit of volunteerism and our just plain friendliness.  The last out of town runner, Marco De Gasperi, left town today, and he is one of many who will always remember the people of the Valley.

Thanks to everyone who helped out with Mt. Washington and Cranmore- whether housing a runner, providing rides, volunteering at the races or just being a welcoming face to so many out of town top notch runners.  We’re not a huge club but our hearts and our generosity more than make up for our numbers.   People across the country in mountain running circles know who the Milers are- and they associate all of us with being kind, generous people.

Thanks for that.  It’s great to be a part of a running club with such pride and a spirit of volunteerism.
